About Me

Phoebe Lupton (b. 1998) is an Australian-Singaporean writer, editor and aspiring academic, currently based in Sydney.

In her practice, Phoebe is interested in poetics, intermediality, ekphrasis and institutional critique. Her work is published or forthcoming with Griffith Review, Archer Magazine, Sinister Wisdom, Emerging Writers’ Festival, The Big Issue, Overland, and a UQP anthology of essays by autistic women. Phoebe also co-edited for Lost Souls Magazine alongside Ben O’Mara and Ali Alizadeh.

She is currently developing a novel about girlhood and creativity in the 2008 financial crisis, and a poetry book about the spaces and objects through which practices of nostalgia take place.
